Plan in the real as-built.
matflow takes floor plan, hall envelope and column grid from the scanned as-built — and delivers the finished layout back as an overlay. No more outdated CAD plans.
The problem with outdated CAD plans
Factory planning based on old DWG files regularly leads to clashes — with columns, supply lines, mezzanines or subsequent modifications that never made it into the CAD. Only on site does it become clear that the plan doesn't match reality.
- Plans don't reflect the current state
- Clashes with columns, pipework, mezzanines
- Costly rework after go-live
- No shared picture of factory reality
How the Siteviewer integration works
- 01
Scan the hall
Siteviewer captures your factory as a precise 3D scan — including columns, pipework, mezzanines and actual wall runs.
- 02
Import as-built
matflow takes from the Siteviewer model: floor plan, hall envelope, column grid and hall height — as a scaled planning space.
- 03
Check layout as overlay
The finished matflow layout is returned as an overlay into the as-built. Clashes are immediately visible before the first machine is moved.
What gets transferred
- Floor plan (scaled, georeferenced)
- Hall envelope (walls, gates, outer edges)
- Column grid (position, cross-section)
- Hall heights (underside of roof, underside of trusses)

About Siteviewer
Siteviewer is the capture and modelling tool from Spatial Platforms for industrial as-built surveying: from the scan campaign to the walkable 3D model.
matflow and Siteviewer are both products of Spatial Platforms — the integration is part of both platforms.
Joint demo of both products
In a joint live demo we show you how Siteviewer and matflow work together — from the first scan to the approved layout.
